[New York, NY, USA] August 1, 2023 Haiti Tech Summit is pleased to announce the 7th Annual program powered by the Global Startup Ecosystem (GSE); scheduled to bring 20 global speakers, 100 live in person delegates and 10,000 Digital Delegates together on September 29, 2023 in partnership with in Partnership with with Google Cloud, AWS, IBM Cloud, & More.
Haiti Tech Summit is the longest running international conference based out of Haiti. In 2017, 2018, 2019 the summit brought together over 360 speakers and 5000 stakeholders live in Port au Prince, Haiti and surpassed 147 million social media impressions. With the impact of the 2020 pandemic, Haiti Tech Summit hosted a Hybrid edition in 2020, a virtual edition with 13,000 delegates in 2021 following the unfortunate assassination of the President and then the first in the country to host a metaverse edition in 2022.
Now in its 7th year as the longest running program bringing tech, government, media, and business influencers together, Haiti Tech Summit returns with the Diaspora Edition. Due to political turmoil and rise of civil unrest in the country, many stakeholders have relocated out of the country. This edition of the series aims to rally diaspora influencers towards a committed effort to bring Haiti back to its former glory.
Deemed the “Davos of the Caribbean”, Haiti Tech Summit brings together thousands of entrepreneurs, investors, celebrities and creatives under one roof together to address humanity’s greatest challenges via tech and entrepreneurship. It is a part of a 13-year initiative to turn Haiti into an international tech hub by 2030.
