Jean-Marc Cuvilly is a development finance professional with over 25 years of experience. Since 2018 Jean-Marc leads the implementation and management of Haiti-INVEST, a USAID initiative that leverages private capital to drive investment in developing and frontier markets. To date, Haiti INVEST has facilitated investments in excess of $25 million in 17 companies, in sectors including agriculture, manufacturing, finance, hospitality, recycling, and education. With the capital they have secured, these businesses have created or plan to create over 900 direct and indirect jobs. In addition to his efforts in Haiti, Jean-Marc’s work includes USAID-supported reforestation and agriculture programs in Mexico, infrastructure project development in El Salvador, and the creation of various mini-grids in Colombia.
Prior to this, Jean-Marc focused on private equity investments in both developed and emerging markets at JP Morgan, Merrill Lynch, Triago Advisors, and Autonomy Capital. Jean-Marc’s expertise is on valuation of private companies, capital raising, and acquisition or sale of secondary interests. He has worked with buyout and venture funds, as well as infrastructure and real estate investments, in the North America, Europe, Latin America and Asia.
Jean-Marc graduated from Princeton University with a degree in Economics. He received his Master’s in Business Administration from the Anderson School at UCLA.
