Jamila is one of the champions of AgTech revolution in Africa. She is the current Country Manager for Wefarm Kenya, a free peer-to-peer service that enables farmers to share information via SMS, without the internet and without having to leave their farms.
She is a 2017 Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum, an Ashoka Fellow, Aspen New Voices Fellow and a 2015 Quartz Africa Innovator.
