
Amber Walsh
Deputy Director of HELP and passionate about helping mission-based organizations measure their social impact. Amber has overseen HELP’s impact assessment processes and programmatic evaluations for the last 4 years is currently leading HELP’s extensive technology investments. This includes the development of a powerful and comprehensive student database, built on the open source tools CiviCRM, Drupal and Moodle, which centralizes all beneficiary data including a database of secondary schools in Haiti which now includes over 3,000 schools. HELP’s 35 employees and 180 students are trained and use the software and play an active role providing feedback into its continued development. Amber has 17 years of non-profit management experience, many of which have been spent supporting education programs in Haiti. Amber has B.A. in political science from McGill University and an M.B.A. from Yale University.
